Our First Wash-Out in Water Cay

With winds forecast to move out of the SE, we had to leave Guana Cay (no protection from this direction).  Because the forecast was for rain today, we decided to skip Treasure Cay (gorgeous beach if it were a sunny day) and head to Water Cay which afforded good protection but unfortunately for us, it lived up to it's name.  When we left the anchorage at Guana Cay around 10 am we had a little  light rain that stopped upon our arrival at Water Cay around noon.  But soon thereafter the rain started  up again and it rained until about 5 pm so we didn’t get a chance to do any exploring. Instead, we wasted away the afternoon on the computer planning for our crossing back to the states and Sally’s upcoming wedding.
