Bath Anyone?; Becalmed; Finding Sand Dollars at Southwest Cay

Around 4 am, a thunderstorm passed through and when we awoke, we found the dinghy resembling a bathtub as it had about 4 inches of fresh water in the bottom.  Under overcast skies, we raised anchor  at 10:30 am with a SW breeze of 12 knots heading northwest  towards Double Breasted cay. We managed to sail for an hour before the winds died completely. So we ate lunch as we drifted along and around 1:30, turned on the engine and motored to Southwest Cay - a long narrow cay just about 5 miles from Allens-Pensacola.- with no one around. We drift snorkeled between the cays as a 2 knot current was ebbing. Sarah collected many puffy sand dollars in the shallows.  Dinner was broiled tofu with carrots - a first and very nice.

Resorting to motoring to our next destination
